Yes. The patient can do physical therapy with the physical therapist of their choice. For patients who simply cannot or do not want to travel to the recruiting site, you can help refer them to a clinic near them that is part of our study physical therapy network (found on study website). The advantage here is that these PT clinics already have some familiarity with the trial and have agreed to follow our treatment protocols. If the patient wants to attend a specific clinic that is not part of the study network, that is ok too. The study’s Lead Physical Therapist at your site will contact their treating physical therapist to ensure they are informed about the trial and its treatment protocols.
